After the terrorist attack on October 7, 2023, and the outbreak of the Iron Swords War, the Yedei Or NPO immediately mobilized to support and care for tens of thousands of people—both civilians and soldiers. Through a network of qualified therapists working on a voluntary basis, the organization aimed to strengthen national resilience and reinforce the sense of mutual responsibility in Israel.

As part of the "Swords of Light" emergency program, Yedei Or has, to date, provided an unprecedented 70,000+ mind-body treatments—entirely on a voluntary basis—to affected communities. These include residents of the surrounding settlements who were evacuated to hotels and temporary residences across the country, young survivors of the Nova music festival massacre, bereaved families and victims of hostilities, families of abductees, MZP teams at Shura camp, ZAKA, the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Abu Kabir, wounded soldiers in hospitals, and hundreds of IDF units (both regular and reserve) who received these treatments during breaks from the intensity of combat.
