Who can receive a treatment?
Eligibility for treatment depends on the diagnosis and remains valid as long as the diagnosis is current. It isn't subject to an income test. Diagnoses: - Muscular dystrophy patients: including ALS, Duchenne, and advanced stages of multiple sclerosis - Cancer patients: eligibility is valid at all stages and up to six months after the patient is declared cancer-free - Cerebral palsy patients.
Many patients in Israel rely on social security benefits, face high medical expenses, and experience functional impairments that make it difficult to access community services. Yedei Or NPO is a unique organization in Israel that provides a wide range of complementary treatments—both financially and physically—to those who are sick or housebound. For many patients, Yedei Or's treatments offer moments of rest and peace in the midst of a challenging reality.
Applicants on Yedei Or's eligibility list are invited to fill out the form below. A Yedei Or representative will contact the applicant within a week. After an introductory conversation and a needs assessment, the applicant will be matched with a suitable therapist for a long-term therapeutic relationship.
The therapeutic relationship includes one hour of treatment each week, either at the patient's home if mobility is limited or at the therapist's clinic if the patient is mobile.
Eligibility is based on the diagnosis and remains valid as long as the diagnosis is current. Income is not a factor in determining eligibility.
